Greg, Randi, and Madeline were able to award two well deserving students the Trent Maloney Memorial Scholarship during the scholarship banquet.
These scholarships are possible because of the outpouring of support we have received from all of you. Whether it was a monetary donation, raffle basket, baked good, or your support on the day of our fundraiser, you are helping to make it possible to carry on Trent’s legacy.
As the committee sat down and decided on what we are looking for in our candidates and the first thing was a love of baseball/softball. While Trent played other sports, baseball was his true love. From there, we knew that to be deserving of this award, the candidate(s) also needed to be a good friend, willing to lend a helping hand to others, and show a love for their school and community, like Trent did.
To our scholarship recipients and the rest of this year’s graduating class, #TeamTrent22 wishes you congratulations, and the best of luck in all your future endeavors!
