NEW THIS YEAR: We are asking local “Hometown Heroes”
and high school students to join us for a fun, yet competitive
game of softball.

At the age of only nine, Trent Gregory Maloney passed away on February 28th, 2020, due to complications from cardiac arrest he suffered five weeks prior. Trent enjoyed his Hot Wheels collection, playing baseball with the Oconto Falls Rec League, and playing basketball with the Oconto Falls Hoops Club. Trent’s passion for sports and love for baseball has led us to organizing and establishing the Trent Maloney Memorial, Inc. in order to fund student scholarships, assist other local nonprofit organizations, and support youth sports in the Oconto Falls community.
The Baseball Tournament will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2024, (rain date Sunday, August 11th) at Memorial Field in Oconto Falls, WI, Trent’s hometown. Proceeds will be used to establish and fund a memorial scholarship in Trent’s name to be awarded to a graduate(s) from Oconto Falls High School each year through the Class of 2029, the year Trent would have graduated.
